Will's Three Year Pics

I know I stopped updating the other day mid-birthday celebration, but Miles and I have been sick so I'll blame it on that. Maybe I'll finish updating tonight.

This afternoon I worked on editing pictures I took of Will for his three year pictures. I figured why pay someone to do it when I have a nice camera and lenses to use. We were going to The Farm at South Mountain for lunch with my MOMS Club, and I thought it would be a great spot to do them. My friend Tara took pictures of Will and me there a couple years ago as a present for John for Father's Day, and my friend Michele, who is also a photographer, loves to use it for pics as well.

Anyway, here are the pics. Hopefully this link works.

Will's Birthday Celebration Part One

As you probably know, I am all about celebrating my birthday as many times as possible, so logically I should do the same for my kids. Will's birthday fell on a Friday, and my mom came over to spend the day with us. We met John for lunch at Elephant Bar and then went to a cool park in Chandler that Jen B. had told me about. We were at the park for an hour or so, and Will did not want to leave! But, we had to so we could pick up my brother at the airport. John was home already when we got here with Ryan, so Will opened his presents, then we had pizza for dinner and Coldstone ice cream cupcakes for dessert. It was a fun day!

Playing with Granny

We were at my mom's house for Teresa's birthday dinner, and Will went over to my grandma (Granny) who was sitting on the couch and said, "Granny come play with me on the floor. Come on Granny, you can do it, it will be fun!" It was too funny. So, 91 year old Granny got down on the floor and played with Will.

Trevor's Birthday Party

Will's friend Trevor's birthday is two days before Will, so his party has always been the weekend before Will's party. This year his mom, Jen, went all out and gave him an awesome dinosaur party. It was amazing!! The kids went on a dinosaur egg hunt, played dinosaur ring toss, dug for fossils, went on a dinosaur hunt, and got to make a volcano erupt. Will had a great time!

Valentine's Party

I'm so behind in uploading pictures and updating the blog! So this will be another day of several posts...or until I get bored of working on it.

We had our MOMS Club Valentine's Party back on Februrary 12th. Every year we've been in the club the party has been at a park, and the kids decorate sugar cookies. Will had fun, but he was really more interested in eating the frosting and decorations than actually decorating his cookie. :)

(Again, I don't know why my pictures won't turn the right way!!)

And for fun, here's Will at the party last year:

My cute baby boy

I loved Miles' outfit today and had to take a few pictures. The outfit was from my aunt and came with some brown fleece pants, but I couldn't find them while digging through the dryer this morning, but I did find some jeans. The little shoes were from my aunt, too. He looked so grown up in his little jeans and shoes!!

(Why are my pictures all sideways?!?!?)

Spiderman!

I've joined a small group at our church, and today was the first time we were able to go. There's only been one other meeting, but we couldn't go because the kids were sick. It's at my friend Stephanie's house, and her kids Zachary and Lindsey are two of Will's friends. Zachary put on his Spiderman costume at one point, and when he took it off Will wanted to play with it. Turns out Stephanie had a second so they could both be dressed up. It was too funny!! They were even wearing the same socks, so it was almost impossible to tell them apart.

(I don't know why the pictures are sideways, but I can't seem to change it)

Laveen Parade

My MOMS Club participated in Laveen's Community Parade this morning. This was the first time Will and I were able to join in--every other year we've been out of town the weekend it was held. Will had mixed feelings about it. When we were waiting for it to start he kept asking to go home, but once he got into it, he had a great time and was passing out candy to the kids along the street watching the parade. Miles slept the whole time. :)

Dirt Pile

My friends JoEllen and Kimberly are opening a preschool and had their groundbreaking ceremony on Friday morning. We went to cheer them on, and Will had a great time. It was at the construction site for the school, so there were rock piles to climb on, dirt to dig, construction vehicles/equipment to see, and cake for a snack. Talk about heaven for a toddler! Will and his friend Connor climbed to the top of a rock pile with their shovels.

Killing time at the doctor's office

Will and Miles have both been sick, and so have most of Will's friends. One of his friends had pneumonia and another had a sinus infection, so I figured I should take them to the doctor. Will got pretty bored waiting for our doctor to come into the exam room, and he found the camera in the diaper bag. I figured we'd take some pictures to keep him occupied, and we played with the movie feature.
